Yes, it can only be fixed by the developer. Hopefully this will happen sometime like Mi Max. Thank you.

Naaa I can barely go past half before my ears start to hurt from the volume, the 5T is way too loud.

Don't you need root for that ?

I didn't bother with any of this. When my head phone volume was too low on external speakers I just used exkernel to raise my volume from odb to 20db. yes exkernel from flar2 requires root. Exkernel manager is available for I think 5 bucks in okay store and is the most user friendly custom kernel you can find. The different volumes can be found under sound.

I have a root. I have now downloaded and tried this mixer_paths_tasha.xml (stereo mod) and it had an effect. I do not know which values are responsible for the sound level of the headphones. Change each and reboot for a very long time.

Here is the sound control manager in Exkernel. I used the headphone digital gain to make my headphone output louder. turning it to 20db while connected to external speakers. Just be careful to lower the volume rocker when you raise the gain. I also set it back to default when not using external speakers. Make sure you read and understand how exkernel works before trying this. The other speakers besides the headphones can also easily be controlled here but I cannot verify if they work because my issues was with the headphone speakers when physically connected to external speakers with a sound cable.

to difficult read up on exkernel manager and kernel. you will get user friendly control knobs for the speakers.

What you are saying might work but exkernel manager has a control for each of the speakers. I use exkernel for wake gestures so I already had it.

Sound is under gestures on the US version. Not sure what it's under in your language but it should be there.

Yes, I see you have it. You can determine by the icons, the language need not be known. I do not understand a thing. Do you have 1 + 5? Firmware I have the latest beta. Why do not I have this item, strange.

Not sure at all but after the recent update after rerooting I just go to exkernel section and update. install or update the kernel. just don't flash on top of another custom kernel only op5t stocked kernel is safe. if you have a different custom kernel read up on how to dirty flash the stock rom. the zip file for current op5t should be in download section of one plus.com. if you have stock kernel just flash exkernel through exkernel manager exkernel section.
