Space not showing instead showing device is full.

I deleted some files from my OnePlus 6 ( some files I cut and pasted on my laptop using Windows 10) but after deletion I'm not getting any free space it's showing the same 2GB free.

Can anyone help to resolve this issue without formatting my phone and without root access.

While I check the details from OnePlus file manager it shows around 96GB then with what the other space accumulated with. Have attached the screenshot for reference.

    Apps, etc. consume space, too.
Did you clear cache of File manager (only cache) and restart?

Yes I have already tried that and also cleared history log from *#800# but it's still showing 2GB free while I have just deleted 6GB.

What about using another file manager like Google Files for comparing?

Yes from there also shows around 2GB free, although I had cut and pasted a big file from this phone to Laptop.
Also I have checked from drive application.

And you did a cut and not just a copy?

Hehe, yes I did a cut and I remember pretty well or even if I had copied, it should be visible on phone storage but it is not there too.

Ok, but my point is atleast there should be more than 6GB free when I deleted a file of 6GB.

Install any third party file manager app (FX file explorer etc.), and check the storage data.
Check the recycle bin of the gallery/photos app and delete from there as well.
By the screenshots it is clear that storage taken by system is normal.

That's what, I want that free space and don't want to format my phone.
I had tried to restart and shutdowns couple of times but not showing that space..
