I don't know it is only a 5 percent increase in 1 Kyro core's Frequency rest of the big 3 kyros remain same and 15 percent increase in Gpu frequency.
Don't think thermals will be a problem since Cooling systems in place are already good enough

Well the OP7 pro has already been reported as raging at 56°c on PUBG, so it will be interesting to see how hot this one will get.
The SD821 saw a fair few fried mobo's and Heat reports, with one of the leading speed testers( LBS) telling his story on YT. So i'm not looking be in the queue for one of these OC's first up.

Nothing wrong with the cautious approach
We'll see Asus ROG brings this time around a bit pricey though. Red magic has done a fantastic job we'll see how Asus one ups this

    Fair enough.
What is your current phone these days?
I still dip in and out too. Although not as excited with phone tech (apart from better cameras each incarnation), they seem to have plateaued lately, like PC's did.

Mi9,Mi8,Note8 but the last 2 are about to depart from the stable and I'm still looking out for a 7 Pro to test.
I've seen a few third parties showing OOC so a new batch may be incoming with this screen issue resolved, because there is no way i'm touching one of the current batch.

The K20 Pro, Mate 20 Pro and the ROG 2 will most likely be the last I will look at the his year.
