After a lot of searches made in Google, Community forum I decided to move from Stable to Open Beta 20 on my OnePlus 3. During my initial searches I was much confused if I had to move from Stable to Beta. Some of the users had issues while their transition from Stable to Beta. In my case transition was much easy after switching to Beta I haven't addressed any issues. Now I prefer beta than stable os. In fact beta has much more features than stable. Touch latency that all users complain about has been addressed in the beta version. In my opinion open beta is better than stable. (one should remember to clear cache after installing open beta) Methods to install the beta is mentioned in the forum and OnePlus website

It's not hard but takes time to handpick features from beta based on user feedback survey and put it in stable.

I guess we won't receive any stable build updates until Q1 2018, which will be Android O. And that will mean the end of 3 & 3T support period. OnePlus left behind prevoius handset owners since the 5 came out.

I just don't understand why stables updates from 2 to 2 months have always 50-95Mb to download. On nexus/Pixels just security update have between 40-90Mb.

Don't like this oneplus have different Os versions for diferent devices, it's a shame from a company that only have 3 mobiles phones to work (2, 3, 3T and 5).

No one buys a new car to change a motor, it's the same from phones with changing roms. For me a mobile phone is for pick and go, just hope so that new pixel come to EU and sell from Amazon.

Pixel and nexus devices run stock Android, whereas OnePlus phones run on oxygen os which is a customized version of stock Android. So there is no point on complaining about the file size of the OTA. Both are offered by two different companies which are having different features.

It's taking them ages from beta to stable release. Are they making nuclear reactors with the beta code or what?
