Staff should close threads when answered.

I would just like to say I've seen a few threads where the staff have answered the questions for that thread and we really need them to Lock them up after to prevent repetitive posts over and over. Just saying it will help keep the forum cleaner and locked thread can still be viewed to see what's been answered. Thanks!

Agreed. Some of these posts get to many many pages/posts and most don't read through the comments due to the time it takes to weed through everything.

Agree with you, I think it is useless to keep any thread related to questions to admins keep going on after getting a clear answer from admins, this would save us all time and effort to find clear answers, and some people tend to repeat the same questions after it is already answered

With the ammount of threads poping out there is no way that the mods can read through all of them and close the answered ones...

Perhaps not; however, the admin answering the thread can post the answer then close the thread for future responses.

A better solution would be for the OP to report his threads as soon as the questions are answered

Agree. However, will this go against their marketing strategy in getting potential buyers energized? I don't know? There are good threads out there that answer questions and locking can greatly assist me from reading too many pages of replies. Needless to say, that does involve oversight and administration and they may be overwhelmed accommodating this marketing strategy, or just waiting it out? Agree with what Adam Krisko stating that looks like OnePlus starting to manage forum.

So rather than have an admin that is already on the thread responding close it, you feel it's a better solution to wait for the OP to come back and do it himself? If the OP isn't online at the time there could be multiple pages added to the thread depending on the topic.

To each his own I suppose.

Their marketing strategy won't keep potential buyers energized if said buyers are confused.

Maybe we could have a pinned thread of frequently asked questions that have been answered by the mods so there all in one thread that can only be accessed by the mods as well

@ChrisTerp What I meant was thread that keeps talking and talkin and talking about the same point after its answered, Most members don't tend to read all the thread to find an answer they just read the thread title and ask the same questions again and they begin whining about not getting answered, and.believe me people are.doing it on perpouse
