The phone is the same as the unlocked version. The bootloader on this phone is locked, unless you do all the things to prepare this phone for the image, of course it won't work.

I am here because something was stripped from this phone when moving to a carrier and that's the community updates

I've gotten every update except for the latest one which will come real soon I don't know this fastest updates I've ever had through T-Mobile I've had Samsung's and LG's and I've even owned an apple I'm pretty pleased we're supposed to be getting a new update pretty soon T-Mobile just got to prove it

The devs sent me an image that they believed could resolve the issue but it only works on Unlocked Variants. Unlocked variants can go to the update section and press Manual Update and then use versions provided by the developers. T-Mobile can't.

here's the deal you still going to get updates faster than any other Android phone you just got to wait for T-Mobile to approve it still great deal

The updates need to be certified by T-Mobile, you need to be directing your efforts at them not OnePlus. Of the 'carrier branded' devices, I think the 6T is getting the fastest updates on T-Mobile.

The purpose of this will be overlooked if i go to T-Mobile as I'd receive a generic response. I want OnePlus to work something out with T-Mobile to allow users the ability to receive certified updates from T-Mobile or updates directly from the developers.

Apple also breaks more shit than they fix with each update they push out...updates just to have updates isn't the greatest idea
