This should be a simple question but I cannot see the options.

joined to wireless network and need to set a static IP and DNS on th phone however when I go to settings - wireless - select the WLAN network - Modify settings there are no options like this (unlike other android phones I have).

    What am I missing?

    Using oxygen 9.0.13

    DNS: Settings>Wi-Fi and Internet>Private DNS
    (it sets a system-wide DNS)
    IP: Settings>Wi-Fi and Internet>Wi-Fi
Click on your network or to the right of it and go under advanced settings. should be there

If not, forget the network and when you add it back go under advanced settings on the new network screen

Thanks, I had spotted the private DNS option however when I enter the DNS IP address (which is the same IP range that the phone and all other devices are on) it won't allow me to save the setting.

    Any advice welcome!

    OP6T IP: 192.168.11.X
    DNS Server IP: 192.168.11.Y

Select the SSID you want to connect to, input your credentials & while connecting, click that advance option shown in picture 2, otherwise, if you are already connected & device has DHCP assigned IP, then go to the WiFi network, click that pencil icon at Right Hand Side of network.

It will open the settings there click advance options.

Scroll down to DHCP and change it to static IP.

Now you can manually enter all the network IP/DNS/Getway details.
