I think you are the first here on the forums to get one. How was the process? I've read some people report it was smooth and others saying it was hell.

Did you manage to get one for December or are you in Q1 batch? Congratulations.

The Steam Controller had potential. I never played with one, so how are your impressions, namely with the trackpads?

Gabe said that the pricing was "painful" but "critical". Honestly, for everything it promises to to, they are not ultra-expensive machines.

Do you think this can be a success outside the US and Europe? In India, for example?

I use it mostly for driving and hack/slash games. It's really good in the had and I really like the configuration options you have with it.

The track pads are there, nice to use when browsing in windows, bit for games I honestly prefer a good old joystick. I never really got used to them for shooting games, there I still use the good ol' mouse and keyboard combo.

This looks great on paper, but the weight handheld and the power requirements have me worried. Playing AAA titles, the battery going to go down faster than a cold beer in the sun.

I was not aware of it, but I checked their campaign now, many thanks.

On Indiegogo it's mentioned the shipping was going to be in June, but was it released yet?

Hehe, love that metaphor. Not only that, but this was published on PC Gamer: "Unless something changes, Steam Deck won't run Destiny, Apex, PUBG or Siege". "

"Valve is working to improve SteamOS compatibility ahead of the handheld's launch," so hopefully that's the case.

For me personally, it's software, hardware and the whole enchilada @Cheetosdust. This entire Thread has had the piquing power to make me want to jump back in to the world of mobile d gaming and yet I will definitely be looking forward to your no holds barred, tech savvy reviews to see if it truly is enough to entice me to invest in one of these, hopefully a "Souped up Switch on Steroids " Devices. Definitely looking forward to hearing more about this from you @Cheetosdust. Thank you for this thread and most importantly, thank you for your Technological honesty coupled with your uniquely factual commentary style "reviews". I'm also hoping that the end result specifications price points are not only centered around expandability for then, if I read this correctly, the mid-range would suffice especially with the ability to either use internal and external expansion capabilities. An anti-glare screen is easy to come by and yet these Initial specs do have me wondering some of the same points about battery life that you touched upon. An added Warp charging would be a game changer, no pun intended. Thank you for this insightful mini preview. I know I will be watching closely to hear more about ALL of this from you.
    Sincerely, 💔🦋💃🥳
