It would be helpful to include the Android Version in the GAAPS section just so there is no confusion.

The steps on that website are very similar to the steps in this guide minus the simplicity that this guide provides. You can choose either way you like but JFDI!

Shift+right click anywhere in the folder, not on a specific file. That's what enables you to use cmd prompt.

I got a question regarding fastboot. I've downloaded the koush adb driver and installed it and in your guide at some point you point out that we should copy the TWRP thingy in the adb folder where we can see adb and fastboot. I do not have fastboot there, also when going into fastboot mode and typing "fastboot oem unlock" i receive an error, something like: ""fastboot" cannot be fined as an internal or external device... " and then nothing else happens.. Any suggestions?

After installing the driver, go to your c drive and you should find a folder named ADB. In that folder you should see the files fastboot and adb. If you see those two files, your in the right location.

Enter into fastboot mode and type in cmd promt:
    'Fastboot devices'

See if your PC can recognise your device. If it does the continue from step 9b.

Also make sure you have ANDROID DEBUGGING enabled (step 3)

I've followed all the steps, the link you have provided for the adb did not contain the fastboot.exe file(at least not for me), but i managed to google myself out of it . Here (https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools.html#download) you can download the sdk-platform for windows/mac... and unzip it, copy the fastboot.exe into the folder you have for adb(the one that Habib provided) and voila, you should be golden. Anyway, i'm just wiping my data now, afterwards, restart, install LineageOS and see how we're doing. Also Habib, i did everything you mentioned and still the fastboot.exe in the adb folder was inexistent. So, for anyone who has the same issue i had, just follow this simple step and proceed with the next steps towards installing LineageOS. Good luck!

I've encountered another issue. I wiped the data, it restarted, optimized all the apps, I have copied the newest lineage bacon zip from the link Habib provided, restarted and went into Recovery. Went to Install, selected the zip file and it starts installing but i receive the following error:
    "ERROR:7 Error installing zip file '/sdcard/lineage-14.1-201702130nightly-bacon-signed.zip "
    Any solution?
Do i need to install both the experimental version and the nightly one? Or i could just go with the Nightly?

I've been seeing the same issue with a lot of other users trying to install the current version of lineagOS.

    Maybe try an older version?

Im currently using version 20170221. They rolled back this version and took it off their site. I installed it the night before they took it off. I still havnt faced any issues with this version though.

I still have the file so if you want it, I'll upload it and link you to it?

They are talking about a dirty flash of the 221 which isn't released officially yet, and everyone is sticking with the 213 due to high reliability. I will flash the experimental one then the nightly one see how it goes. Also, for my own retardness, do we get OTA updates or we have to flash every single version ourselves?

Edit: The experimental one gives the same ERROR:7 stuff + it does not pass the signature verification. Any other solution is well received :D

Ohh, but when I flashed 221 it was official on their site, but then the rolled back and took it off the next day. I still have the file they rolled back(221).

Try wiping cache and dalvik cache.

I can't seem to find a solution to it yet. I will try updating or let us know if you find a solution :)

FIXED: Go into recovery, WIPE > Advanced Wipe > Check System, Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache and press wipe.
Then Install > select the nightly version (i'm using the 213) and it works flawlessly. Also afterwards follow the steps for the Gapps and done. Until now, it seems to work like a charm. I just need to check the apps to see how they behave. But until next time. Good luck and again, thanks for the guide!
