    Tanks for the reply.
I see people getting 4-6 hours sot with line age and I still get the radio active bug (or whatever it is). 10 hours of moderate usage doesent seem reasonable with a 3100 mha battery phone

Well tbh my battery is quite used up, its degraded quite abit. I'll post my battery usage data after a full charge. What I'm trying to say is I would get around 2-3hrs sot (screen on time) when I was on oxygenos if I'm not mistaken.
Now I'm able to get much higher. I havnt paid much attention to the battery life since its been performing well with LineageOS.

Could someone suggest a way to show accurate phone usage and battery life data so I can post here for reference.

I was hoping that lineage was finally getting rid of this mobile bug.

Could you elaborate a bit more on the bug?

The drain started with the android 5 update (cm12) the drain was huge comparing to battery in kit kat, i could go two days of moderate use (or more) and one full day of heavy use, after cm 12 battery drain kept going. I tried a lot of fixes but none would do it, just turn of mobile data would save me some batery.

When I enter this: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. The android image was deleting data and the message Awaiting for Device appeared

It seems that the fastboot driver isn't installed properly.

After step 9a, Try the command:
    Code:
    Fastboot devices
To check if your computer recognizes your device. If your PC doesn't recognise it, you'll have to download the fastboot driver seperatly as mentioned in post #99

If it recognises, continue with commands 9b onwards

Let us know if that worked :)

Hi again. Everything is OK now. It was definitely something related to the ADB. My cell is now on Lineage with Open Gapps also installed.
    Thank you so much.

thanks indeed, had to retry several times and some adb commands that sometimes worke and other times not. could not use the latest bacon nightly on my OPO (error 7) so went one version back which installed fine. Thanks and for others who want to try : just don't give up, the walkthrough is correct but you need perseverence

Thanks! This worked great for me :). Just wondering if it makes sense to relock the bootloader after installation of TWRP?

    No.

If you re-lock your bootloader, you may not be able to unlock it again without using an unbrick tool which would wipe everything on your phone.
