How so? The phone has been unsupported for years now. How does not using a phone that is obsolete and no longer getting security updates make me an idiot?

Replaced with a new shiny Red OP6. Still have the OPO with LOS 14 on it, haven't powered it up for a couple of months though.

You should know about custom roms.
My one was never attacked. Yes, Security updates are missing. But it does not make the phone obsolote or non functional. And my favourite camera app works better on older (nougat) OS.

Good device cannot be shit just because you don't want it.

it was a great phone at its time. and it still works well as a backup device.

i have posp (Potato Open Sauce Project) installed. this is android pie and it runs great.

so i'm not currently using it, but i maintain the system in case i need it.

    great phone.

    regards

I was using it 'till the start of February. Sadly it wasn't able to keep up with all the work stuff I'm doin with it, it also got minor problems, like failing to detect the Sim card.
Still working, just not my main device anymore. That's the job of my op6 now. I really enjoy this phone and am curious if it will last as long as my opo did.

    Yes. Still rocking!!
Well, I would say you have no idea. I am using it with AOSP Pie based and it is still capable of giving any mid range phone a run for its money. Just the Games are not playable as smooth for obvious reasons. other than that I can use it as my daily driver if I have to but for now I have OP6 as my main device.
