Mine's still going strong. Pie is my next job...
A fellow student of mine does. His phone died a few weeks ago. He ordered a new battery and got it going again. Might last him another 2 years or so. This phone is a warrior!
Before I go ahead with LineageOS 16, did you hit any snags? Did you follow any particular guide?
my "oldtimer" OPO with lineageOS16.0 is awesome
My1+1 is rolled back from los15 to los14.
Because annyoing sw bugs and not working fw5.
No snags, I did a clean install, via TWRP wiped system/data/caceh, etc. Everything EXCEPT internal storage.
Then installed 16.0 and a fresh gapps nano, booted right up no issues.
Is there somebody using camera FV-5 on Oreo or Pie on OPO?
Yep still going strong on Lineage16.0 nightly's ,
Yes.. With Lineage OS Android Oreo 8.1.0
Although I now use the OP6, in honor of Pi Day (Pie Day 3.14) I have updated my OPO to LOS 16 Android 9 - Pie!!!
March security update as well
These days the Bacon is in flight mode.
Since last charge it is already 10 days and prediction is for another 8 days.
Still have mine, upgraded to a 6 though, but still updated my OPO to Pie through LineageOS
It's now more secure (based on Android security patch) than your 6
My 6 shows January, so not too far behind the One.
I just checked and you're right [e]1f602[/e] bit laughable
I love the OnePlus One, it's a great phone of it's time and still handles quite perfect with brilliant support
I had 3 and they didn't last 12 months, mind you they were faulty out the box.
But searchng for solutions, multi rom, dev support and such were kind fun while they lasted.
My wife's phone screen cracked and I am tempted to offer this as a replacement but in a way I don't want her mishandling it
But for a phone that is several years old and still going, it is amazing. I actually got use to a FPS on the back and kept trying to find it on the back of the OPO
3 bad apples? Did you get any replaced as they should have been covered under warranty.
My initial OPO lasted about 3 months but I did receive a replace and it lasted - still going. I did replace the battery eventually, but that's all besides having to swap to a custom ROM once Cyanogen went belly up.
I only had 1 and it lasted me since the day a bought it and still going, not sure if I just got lucky, the battery is a little worn now but that's to be expected after this long. But it still lasts a decent length of time
honestly dude. I'm thinking of selling my 5T for one.
you'd have to be an IDIOT NOT to be using one!
Is this the equivalent of "is anybody still listening in 2011" comments on youtube videos?
Those are awesome.
