I had the same problem with the stock rom recently, plus battery drainage. Flashed LineageOS 15.1 a few weeks ago and it's running perfectly now.

My dad finally returned my OnePlus One.

The first thing I did was flashing that latest Lineage OS 16 build and an opengapps nano package (which was the only one small enough to successfully install). Then I ordered a microphone daughterboard (mic was semi-broken) and a new battery (it's nearly 5 years old, after all).

Once they arrive, I'm planning on swapping the parts and actually give it a go. If I'm lucky enough, the parts will arrive in time of making a thread about it on April 23 (the day the OnePlus One was launched, 5 years ago).
