my oneplus 3t unfortunately got stolen. now im trying to blacklist the phone through my carrier and also to get some insurance money. when i called my carrier they say a phone only got one imei number and doesn't want to block it because i provided 2 imei numbers. so they told me to call oneplus support to ask them which imei number the phone has.
i talked to the oneplus and they said both was used by the phone.
called my carrier back with this information and after like 10minutes they told me that "a phone only has 1 primary imei number" and told me to call oneplus support again.
so i talked to oneplus support and they didn't understand the question and told me to my carrier was probably referring to which slot i had the sim card in.

how does it work with imei numbers and dual sim? is there a primary? where can i read more about this?

Sim Slot 1 usually refer to primary imei number, block the first imei number that's enough.
