I have a OnePlus 3t and I receive none of the rampant battery issues that everyone on this forum always seems to be complaining about. I thought I'd provide some tips. First off, uninstall Facebook, it drains a ton of battery, use a third party alternative. Secondly, turn on aggressive doze, it works wonders.

Meh. I'm quite sure that there are plenty of 3T's with defective batteries/boards out there and nothing can't really be done beside replacing the phone.

My words are based on owning an original OP3 which runs the very same apps and usage pattern and has much better power conaumption. My 3T acts like it has only 2500-2600mah battery in it.

who are you to tell people to stop complaining!just because you get awesome battery doesn't mean everyone else does!if people have a problem they post it on the forum an it just so happens battery life is by far the biggest problem on the latest updates!I'm pretty sure people have tried all those basic things that u have suggested the problems run a lot deeper

All always on. What's the point of turning them off. I have a Fitbit that needs to sync with the phone. I thought when you are on strong wifi, the data kind of turns off.

It monitor and calculate average power consumption from user usage pattern. If device is running heavy app from day 1 then it will show time that's shorter but realistic.

There is no faulty batteries or bords, the short SOTs are down to the apps you have on the phone, how you use the phone and the draining bugs that the software has.

Everyone can get to 4.5-5 hours SOT.

Good, another of those threads with an opener in denial that since he is not affected by an issue it seems to not even exist at all.

I'll use my dumb example so lower IQ people can understand.

I'm not hungry, therefore, there's no hunger in the world.

Do you see the flaw in that logic?

    There we go then.

Have a nice day if you have battery issues, have an horrible day if you do not.

    Peace.
