    OP & google are not comparable.
    Google has made a name with their services & probably no one can do without it anymore, apple included. So, they have the the audacity (?) or right to mean their own bussinesses which succeeded in the past & will do atleast in foreseeable future.

    OP has made a name as well with their offer assisted by the community which had a big role, not anymore though!!

    if you already have OP6 then better stay with it. Because 6T and 6 almost the same neither you find OP7 is much better device upcoming for next year. I always prefer One Plus is top flagship killer phone in OP7.

    Even the new "budget" iPhone XR is minimum £749, absolutely insane money for a device which doesn't even have a FHD display.

    But, the iPhone XR is a really good phone.
    I'm not an iPhone user because i prefer Andriod over IOS, and I would never buy the XR.
    But, it's a really good phone for someone who likes Apple. Yes, it's not the cheapest phone ever, but samsung charges $720 for an S9 and the XR is only $30 more. A lot of people bought the S9, and nobody was complaining about the price.
    The XR has an amazing camera that will take some of the best photos and videos. It's only in preference if you think the Pixel 3 or the s9 has a better camera.
    The new A12 bionic chip is also a good bit faster than the SD 845. Also, the phone has really good battery life, even though it's under 3000 mAh. It's right up there with the note 9, and that has a 4000 mAh battery.
    It's also an Apple device, where IOS and the A12 bionic were both made by apple to work with their devices, so they're super optimized.
    The screen is 820p, but, you'll only notice the difference if you put it next to a 1440p display, as it's still a good screen.
    So. If you care about specs, the phone is definitely not for you. But, if you're an IOS user, it's really good.

    I concur, it's somewhat disappointing that OP has given up on the headphone jack for the 6T, however, it doesn't mean that the upcoming 7 will continue with this trend. I predominantly use BT headphones with my OP 6, but I keep a pair of wired earbuds in my bag/jacket if the BT headphones die...and when you're riding the train/bus for an hour plus, it's always good to have a backup! Maybe it's time to invest into a pair of USB-C headphones? I know that you cannot charge and listen to music at the same time, but I typically don't do both at the same time.

    My biggest concern with BT in general is the actual longevity of the headphones. Like cordless vacuums and cordless drills, lithium-ion batteries deplete over time and they eventually don't hold a charge anymore. It's one thing if the device is serviceable, but it's another if you're "strong-armed" into buying things more frequently...ultimately, it's not good for the environment (as more garbage fills the landfills) and for the consumer's wallet.

    But hey, there's a difference between durable, long-term appliances, and smartphone accessories.
