Stop Saying OnePlus Lied About Dimensions (Extended Picture with Z1)

I "found" the whole picture! OnePlus did no design-changes or photoshop. It was just an optical illusion. No, but they hid it pretty good underneath. With a slight angle, and cut off where the OnePlus began to show too much.

Still, the OnePlus's size is nothing scandalous. It's pretty close to perfect.

Yes, the photo is photoshopped! I extended the photo and I placed a OnePlus under the Z1 to show how the photo was taken! People are saying it's another device or that they changed the design, but no. They just were a bit nifty.

The dimensions are actually a little big for a smartphone, but if you like phablet OPO it's really nice choice.

    MR Lau say:
    A 5.5" phone on 5" body.
I like the phone and all the work around that but this is a lie!

5.2" would have been the best size to satisfy everybody...

But it's still a great smartphone, maybe the best!

Lie sounds really pretty hard, but definitely misleading the customers!

Really? Hype is a bit misleading? That never happens!

Did you REALLY not think that it's a bit odd that the whole image wasn't on show?

If they had created a 5.5" screen phone smaller than a Z1, you didn't think they'd show the entire shot?

I suppose it's nice that there are people who are not so cynical but I bet life hurts.

Just what I told at an other thread allready... Can't find it anymore... Somehow it vanished...
Nevertheless, the OPO is just 1.9mm wider than the Z1. Noone ever told anything about the height as the pic came up first time.

But Pete said that they will put a 5.5 " phone in a 5.0 " body and that was a lie, but I think theirfore the price is wonderful, the desgin and the rest of the phone too.

5.0" body is pretty vague. It could have been a 5.0" phones body that had huge bezels.

Ehhh....they lied dude BUT apple Samsung and all the other top companies lie all the time by labeling their phones "revolutionary" and ppl still buy them. So whether its a lie or "misleading" the size of the phone is all preference anyway don't see why anyone should be up in arms about this.

Lied? They put the phone under the Z1, snapped a picture and cropped the image. They didn't lie at all. Sure, I can agree that it was a little misleading, but every company misleads their costumers in one way or the other. But don't say that OnePlus lied. That's both childish and not true.

It is misleading, but who doesn't market like that these days? Movies, electronics, cars and everything else. All marketing uses different techniques to show you what you need to see to get you excited about the product. Which picture got you hyped? I would have been shocked if it was actually the same size as the Z1. I can't say that I'm in any way disappointed about the actual dimensions.
