Will the "one" work on straight talk? Or what towers does it get its services from?

Any gsm network, AT&T, T-Mobile etc all work. I don't recommend Straight Talk, I like Cricket Wireless which is now GSM and owned/operated by AT&T, cheaper then Straight Talk with bigger plans plus a referral system. As of right now I don't have to pay my phone bill for 3 months, because I've racked up so much credit in referrals. =] for more information PM me. I had a thread about this a while ago.

I am currently using mine on Straight talk (T-mobile sim) with zero issues. Didn't even have to manually enter the APN settings, there was a straight talk-tmobile setting. LTE speeds and no issues at all.

I use cricket also.. att/cricket service isn't the best in my area.. but the $90 a month for two phones beats the hell out of the 215 I was paying for Verizon. Not to mention I get to use the One..

It is 90 a month because I have the highest plan and my wife has the regular plan then because we have multiple phones we get a multiple phone discount..

Cricket with Autopay is $45 or $55. I have the $55 a month plan, taxes included so its legit $45 or $55, unlike straight talk.

What are your LTE speeds on Cricket? Their website says 8mb down max on LTE.. that true?

    • High-speed data access allows download speeds of a maximum of 8 Mbps for compatible LTE devices and 4 Mbps for compatible HSPA+ devices.

Using ATT on StraightTalk. Call and just follow the prompts for setup. Setup via their website didn't work for me and I saw a few people who commented about the same thing. Reception is great in San Diego.

What kind of referral do you get for one person? I'm looking at the basic assuming you're throttled to 3G speeds after you hit limit(which I can definitely live with). The thing is, I literally just bought a straight talk SIM. Maybe we can work something out because I'd rather pay $35 than 49$ after taxes and fees!

Also, is there a lame activation fee like there is with MetroPCS?

Cricket limits DL speeds to 8mb on LTE (according to their website...see my post above).... WHY would you want that?

Straight talk runs on T-Mobile or at&t depending on which Sim you have. The opo will work on straight talk.

The real question is whether or not Straight Talk will update the new OS over their network. I am new to this phone, I just found out about it this week and love what I am seeing. Because I know very little about it, maybe the phone is updated by side loading through a computer? I use Straight Talk and they never updated my Galaxy S 3 beyond 4.1.2, which is very frustrating. How is OnePlus planning on distributing the new OS when it releases?
