Streamline Mic 1.1 Bluetooth echo Aug 12, 2020

I make calls on my OnePlus 7 Pro (GM1917) using the Streamline Mic. This Bluetooth device sends the phone audio to my hearing aids. It seems that when I make a call to someone I am generating an echo on the device of the person I am calling.
Please suggest how I can fix or minimize the ECHO issue.
This issue does not arise when I use the Streamline Mic as speaker only on my laptop and not for microphone.
