Struggles with OnePlus Customer Support - A user's tale

    So why do we need to call CS, what need to be approved? I just don’t get it. @Tobikage mentioned 48-72 hours, I don’t have any estimation besides just “under review”. How would one know what to do when an order is “under review”. Looks like that could last until the end of times or until the voucher expires.

    Nope! Couple of months back while redeeming the watch voucher, the CS took 15 days to approve it, that also with the intervention from @camohan :(

    Yup got one.

    You shouldn't have to if the people responsible are doing their job.

    48hrs since ordering done with here. Nothing's changed. A few were lucky to get theirs approved and shipped already.

    Well, one would have to know who is responsible for what, I have no clue tbh. Why does CS have to approve an order? Is it just the ones ordered with a voucher or do the review “one on one” paid orders also? Didn’t the voucher get approved already by someone in an earlier stage? Where do I get the information from OnePlus on what to do when an order is under review, I sure don’t know. Yes, I know because it’s mentioned on the forums that contacting CS works, or in your case, it didn’t.

    I just don’t get it.

    Yes. Orders done via voucher (free order) require the "backend team" to approve it.
    So even my partially free - partially paid order needs to be approved now.

    You get this information from CS after you ask why your order hasn't been processed after a week. That's how I got to know last time.

    Call me stupid, I just don’t get it. So the “backend team” is some random dude sitting at an empty desk with two stamps in front of him, approved and not approved?

    I guess I need to contact CS then and ask what’s going on, that’ll be a first.:confused:

    Yep exactly that.
    Kind of a 2 step authorization just because it involves a coupon.
    Just that you never know if they take the 2nd step by their own or if you have to push for it.

    Or...if you are patient....lets see how long it takes....
