Struggles with OnePlus Customer Support - A user's tale

    I have been told that the last time I had such issues. I told him, if it did reach to me by the evening, I'll write a mail myself to the top management of OnePlus praising him. Unfortunately, he understood the sarcasm.

    Another one for the "under review" team. It's like this since yesterday's afternoon, let's see for how long. :rolleyes:

    The order is expected to ship today, fingers crossed.

    It took me 4 days to get it approved.
    Continuous calls to dedicated RCC pro, lot of follow up, 4 agents and one case ID.
    It is a nightmare.

    As promised, here's an update from me. The order was shipped this morning, so just a couple of hours after I shared my previous message. You can follow the whole process in the attached screenshot.

    I have a feeling @dsmonteiro had something to do with this, so many thanks. Truly an amazing experience from my side.

    So the approving of the orders aside, which I find quite ridiculous, another odd thing about the whole ordering process is being only able to order three times a month
    That strategy seems counter-productive if I'm being honest.
    Tried to order the stand for my Pacman Nord 2 and I'm greeted with the error :

    On contacting RCC Pro CS I get to know it was the wrong error being displayed, it should've Said, "three orders limit reached".
    Have been advised to order in February. Oh well.

    Atleast they tell you the reason and for me every time I contact them they just keep telling me change the permissions of the store app, clear cache, reinstall the app, even if I mentioned that the same error is showing on website there is nothing related to Store App :sweatsmile::sweatsmile:

    Patience is a virtue :D

    BTW I already mentioned this issue to DSM :)

    Another tale,
    I contacted customer support to enquire if OnePlus 10 Pro cases are available for purchase in the pop-up event which is being held today, support executive said nothing is available for purchase and both OnePlus 10 Pro and the case will only be available during open sale. I was a bit skeptical about is because, I have a bit knowledge on how pop-up works and explained to him that device would be available for purchase tomorrow. But he insisted on his words and assured me that it won't be available for purchase. I took his words and attended the pop-up event anyway just to find out that the device was available for purchase indeed. This is a black-hole size void in terms of communication between customer support team and sales team.

    I asked the same again today and they are still clueless.
