swift black is the best compatibility followed by PitchBlack (i use transparent white notification from pitchblack)... also you may try Flux... in Oreo there was an issue when theming notification the accent color on the black background wasn't that clear (it's an oreo related issue) but a lot of themes updated since, the 2 i'm sure have it (haven't tried it though) are the 1st 2 i mentioned.

thanks for the heads up about domination.

yes, i remove all layers as i descriped on the 1st post first and revert to defualt, and before theming with any black theme i revert to dark mode with blue accent...then reboot after it applies, then go to display and change teh accent to something else then change back to the one you selected in the theme (it will be the one you selected but named Blue in swift, in Pitchblack it's named PitchBlack accent)
in this thread you'll find the drivers
    https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...wrp-root-nandroid-efs-backup-and-more.448149/
and to use it with Andromeda and substratum there's a guide in Andromeda page and XDA google it

did you select Android Oreo - oxygen os on the swift menu? layers are not applied correctly, check screen

You'll also see the layers I have are green that means they're applied right , if they're orange which means they were built but not applied correctly.
If it persists you should clean as I discussed in the 1st post, disable all and then clear all from top 3 dot menu ...etc
iin the screen you shared it shows that you have v14.0 but the layers are not updated that's why it's in greenish yellow color, if that's the case you need to select them and build & update, then select again and enable the ones that are yellow... then reboot.

I'm not sure, it looks like he is unlocking something and rooting. I'm using the non rooting method with Oreo. It doesn't show adb just shows unlocking boatloader I think

yes he is but the drivers are the same, there's a driver package there, it's what you need, has nothing to do with rooting.
the 1st point on the image in that thread is called adb and fast boot installation

I suggest in the first post you indicate what OOS actually means. Its obvious to those who are familiar but not to those who havent seen it before, like myself. I figured it out about 15 posts down but thought you should know.

I think this post is just as relevant for the 5/5T
