I tried pitch black.. Only one issue.. When I go for dark notification with translucent effect.. I can't read the app name in notification, I only read the message from the app.. But with light notification it works fine..

Any idea to make it work with dark notification?? Cause it looks dope..

most if not all dark notification on Oreo has this issue, it's an Oreo issue not a theme issue, the themes are not able to theme some text in the notification , so as you noticed it's not readable at times... i personally also use PitchBlack, i use light notification with transparency, looks very good.

i haven't tested yet... the developer mentioned it's now fully compatible with OOS Oreo
Swift is the best one with the darkest black, and it's the only one i know of that themes the incall UI so its as black as the rest of the theme...i currently use Valerei, it's the only one that makes everything transparent, latest version fixed most of the issues, but it requires a lot of testing to get the best result to ones tastes, that said, i do feel it makes the system a little slow

ah yes. Valerie is good too. I used it for sometime, but it lagged the recents and other places where scrolling happens.

but liked the rest though. Swift black now supports transparency too.

anyways, thanks for the insights. will try it out soon. will update here if I find new ones and tag you. you may add it if you like ;)

    Update
Hide X (Supports OOS 8) added to 1sr post,
This is a very nice add-on, it removes the x mark on the signal icon when data is off, and the R when roaming... I tested the x and it works on OOS 8.0

you can also try LockClean by kohlewrrk.

It hides various things from the lockscreen like date, shortcuts etc. to keep it minimal.

if the theme supports OOS and has Fonts, it should work, i haven't tried myself but i don't see why not.
