    Hello All,

I've had my Oneplus 7T for 4 months now. Love it to death. Always keep rubber bumper case on my clean Blue 7T. However, out of nowhere I have a cracked along the back of my once pristine 7T. Never dropped phone nor has it endured any impact of any kind. I do not have a protection plan.

Has anyone else in the ONEPLUS Community experienced this?

could be the case was pressing against the back glass hard and even a small force could result in a crack though this is very unlikely

That's exactly what I'd like to know. I see there has been a few other instances of this happening

I'm using the same supcase on my silver 7t. If it's a quality issue then OnePlus needs to address it. And yes I've seen a few posts with the same issues on same place of crack.

The replacement is cheap, get it replaced in a authorized service center...

    ..

The same thing has happened to me, well to my 7T 😆.
Only I dropped mine, & I didn't have a measly, cheap case (not saying OP did, neither by any means). I paid 50$ for mine, it's the one they recommended with my purchasing the phone. (They as in T-Mobile not 1+).

I,ve dropped my phone so many times without an iota of damage, even a couple of times with the case off. Nasty drops, too. This time I was merely sitting at my coffee table texting with the phone between my legs & I was pretty sleepy due to exams (that's why I dropped it) & it landed flat on it's back really easy, I take off the case and I was surprised. My case is a two piece so there's 2 cases essentially for optimal protection for both sides. I can see this possibly happening with the case that comes with the phone, but even w/ that one I dropped it a few times & nothing.

Im thinking the back is glued on basically having the glass & the phone flush with one another (if there wasn't any glue) so the glass took the damage due to the phone's dropping by? This makes sense why OP, who had not dropped his phone (and my case & his case are different in everyway, so it can't be the cases problem)

Has this been fixed now, since the thread is few months old and been bumped. I hope you had accidental protection plan to cover the minimise the cost for repair and service.
