Sudden, fast scrolling

Sometimes when I'm casually scrolling on my OnePlus 7 Pro (on a webpage, in Discord, on Twitter, in Instagram, etc), it very quickly scrolls up or down.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? It's happened within the last few days to really bother me.

Update: I'm finding when I try to scroll more slowly, at the very end of my input it will suddenly scroll super fast upward (seem ng posts below quickly).

Am I the only person experiencing this?!

Good to know, thank you. Do you have any screen protector on it? Besides the standard one that comes with it?

I do, only because I was originally getting the ghost touches issue and OnePlus support advised I remove the one it came with lol. Now I have a 3D Screen Protector by QITAYO. I did a solid job putting it on I think, you can't even tell it's there.

I've experienced this phenomenon for several times on my OP5. When i was scrolling too fast up or down, the content was reversely moved to the initial place.

I I have found that it doesn't really have to do with how fast I'm going, if I lift my finger at the end of the movement it doesn't do it. it does it the most an apps like the Google news app when I'm scrolling up or down in it.

Maybe this 'feature' reached to the whole new level than its predecessor, lol [e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e]. But does it usually happen? it's rare to me

I read the news app everyday and it does it on a fairly consistent basis, but I have learned how to control it.

It used to happen on my Note 8 and my Note 9 from Samsung. it happens once in a great while. It's not just a OnePlus issue. I believe it's something to do with the panels that Samsung uses.

The problem is that it's happening really often on OnePlus (several times a day) - at least for me

I've seen that with some people. IDK. I've not experienced it in 2 1/2 months. It definitely sounds like some units have a small bug.
