suddenly my dash charging is not showing dash charging symbol

    guys is this a bug or problem with my dash charger/mobile? please tell me if anybody has this problem. since from 3 days it is not showing dash symbol and battery charges very slow.

    check your wall socket..it is not getting enough voltage..if u r using a surge protector..please directly plug in to wall socket

    i'm using wall socket and i have checked every place in my three houses at different states ap & Telangana. it is not at all showing dash symbol everywhere. [e]1f622[/e]

    try to disconnect and reconnect the cable with the adaptor...if it still fail then i think you need to contact service centre...also try clear cache from recovery as well...it might help.

    Are you using any cover for phone then remove it turn off your phone for while then without cover charged your phone & see

    If you are using dash charger and dash cable Check whether the power adapter is inserted properly into the socket.
    Check if the USB cable's both ends are properly inserted.
    Check if there is too much dirt in the USB cable

    i would suggest try clear cache first...if still not resolved then dont wait for next update..contact service center as soon as possible.

    try with someone else's charger, see if it works or not.
    try switching off your phone & then charge please.

    if it worked that means your charger is damaged,
    if still doesn't work then there is some software glitch.

    but ensure before trying that your phone is not hot. its completely cool

    Take a photo of the cable (specially close to the connectors) and a photo of the Dash adapter. Also a photo of the USB-C port might be a good idea.

    I seriously think this could be happening because you tugged the cable or something.

    try someone else's proprietary cable because other cables won't work still there's issue try using charger too if you still run out of luck maybe your phone has a problem

    I have the same problem with my phone ,I contacted the repair centre , they quoted me $300+labour &shipping to fix the charge port &board .
    I only had my one plus 5 for 8 months

    So solved my charging issue,
    By taking a pin and carefully removing a bunch of dirt in the charge port.
    Works good as new
