I can certainly tell you that my experience is very subpar. Notwithstanding the poor software experience with my S8, the tablet i am typing this on now is shameful.

I have a wifi Tab S3 which i bought brand new when it came out in Australia direct from Samsung and the last update i have had was in November 2018 which included the October security update. So thats almost 5 months out of date for their most premium tablet at the time.

Very poor. Having said that, if they are trying to turn things around then that's awesome .

Historically true, but think they are trying to improve, which they seem to be doing.

I cant believe after I produced the evidence that a minimum of 16 updates were issued to your country in 19 months you're still singing the same song.

Talk to your service provider, it has nothing to do with Samsung.

I can reproduce the evidence again if you wish.

    What song Malidan?

I am talking about my experiences and posted a screenshot of my current software update on the Samsung Tablet I purchased directly from Samsung which is wifi only. There is no carrier involved.

You can't argue that my tablet, a premium device at the time, is 5 months out of date.

Global unlocked service directly from Samsung, not a piggy back service provider.

What are you talking about Malidan? Did you not read my post? Did you gloss over the part where I took a screenshot of my Tablet that is not in any way shape or form locked to a network because it is wifi?

You experience is not with SAMSUNG IS IT .
Your device is owned and serviced by you service provider.
You just ask T-mobile OP users what their experience is.

Yes that's exactly right Malidan. The wifi only tablet is somehow locked to a service provider. Because that makes such sense.

Now please know Malidan that as I said in my original post - if Samsung are changing improving their software experience and updates that's awesome and I am all for it. So please know that I am not picking a fight or trying to disagree with you.

All I am saying is my own experience and in particular I am talking about my current Samsung device, the tablet I spoke of.

Because I know you won't believe it anyway - here are the screenshots that show my tablet type, that it is wifi only and it's current software update.

    Let stop right here,
1.Samsung do not send you updates
2 You do not have a device serviced by Samsung
    3. Speak to your service provider.
    4. Why do you still own the device if it is a bad as you claim it is.

It's a tablet Malidan. One that I purchased directly from Samsung and is wifi only, if Samsung are not the ones who will send updates to me then who is it?

I own it because quite frankly it's the only good Android tablet available! :)
