It's not just the fact that the updates are behind though is it.. EU just seems to be the after-thought every time.

The update experience certainly leaves a bad taste in the mouth. There is so much conflicting information on here especially for the betas through OnePlus deploying for specific regions, yanking the updates completely and then deploying for all but EU. No explanation is ever given (in my experience) for any of it and users are left completely confused and stuck on various different beta versions, being told by other users that the update is available when it's not for another in a different region. Even that wouldn't be so much of an issue if OnePlus would actually bother to communicate with their user base what's going on.

I can't understand why they wouldn't just wait until global, India and EU were ready before releasing.

A resolution for those of us in the EU could be to switch to global, but to my knowledge nobody really knows if this introduces issues behind the scenes and OnePlus seem to completely ignore requests for this kind of information in the community forums so it just leaves people guessing. People comment that the only differences are EQ availability and call recording etc, but even this is false and dependent on region as I am on global now and these options are missing. They were only available to me in beta 4.

None of it... the update cycles / cock-ups, the complete radio silence and absence of OnePlus presence in the community makes for a particularly great or confidence fulfilling experience owning a OnePlus device. I was sold entirely on this phone having looked at it solely from the device standpoint and not knowing a lot about the company. Had I have known this is how things were then I would have very likely steered clear.

why the updates are late in India everytime when others getting on the same day update release? 2days back this update came but it didn't reflect in system update in OnePlus 7T. Are the updates in India are coming through courier service or what?🤦

I am using the OnePlus 7t device. I have already installed the update using the oxygen updater app from play store. Will there be any problem that will occur?

video clarity in slow-motion (960fps in 720) is worst at all. then why oneplus is adding or focusing this feature, instead they can focus on battery improvements and open beta features.
