Ok guys, from what I understand, this thread is only for OP7T,and it has nothing to do with new update10.0.4 which is belong to OP7 and 7 pro.
I'm not saying you guys shouldn't talk about the new update but I think there is another thread for 7 and 7 pro.
Enjoy the new update and good luck
    Stay safe
    Thanks

I don't really know what happened on your device and when it was heated... But I often see a few people complaining about heat and battery drain on every single device on every single update thread.

There are threads on this topic.

    7t Pro

Checking the behavior on battery drain can be a good start. Sometimes the answer lies there. Missbehaving apps both drain a lot and cause heat.

International/Global and EU version. BA just abides by some EU regulations. Also then we have the different hardware versions too that offers slightly different network bands

Which version should I install if I have the HD1900 model and live in the EU?

If you don't have a problem with International just keep it. You get access to Equalizer for example. Does not exist in EU build.

A bit hard to say. The amount of no signal or unknown signal together with poor signal does not exactly call for a great battery time.
And I have used Netflix too little to have a really good idea of how much it drains. Android system might be a bit high. If you very recently updated it it can be normal with higher drain until it settles down again.
If you leave it on the charger for some extra time, over the night for example, it should be certain that it finishes a background optimization.
It's also possible to manually run that process via adb shell.

    cmd package bg-dexopt-job

It says Success when done. Keep it connected until then.

Personally, the only time I'd buy a gray imported Chinese phone would be if I intended to use it as extra test device for DPs or closed betas or play around with Lineage OS and stuff. Then I'd have my main device bought for the intended region.
I don't know if all the bands your carrier uses exists on the Chinese version.

There is also a new update you can try now.
