I never use third party solutions of business phones, this is strictly forbidden for security reasons.

not really I understand it, this is straight way to have your phone and data compromised, if anything it's better to flash the phone manually but I'd rather wait for official solution - I don't buy flagship phone to use workarounds. I just answer people asking when the update might come to Europe.

In what way? By connecting directly with the servers? Lol. Today they make you update via ota, tomorrow you're forced to install antivirus and cleaners to your phones[e]1f60f[/e]

Well the developer of the application might serve you anything and say you are connecting with OnePlus server, actually he can display anything you desire and expect on the screen :)

If that was the case, sb would already grab their hand and the app would be deleted from the Play Market.

Hahaha Strange, Been using Oxygen updater from Oneplus 5, not a single time i got any bug which leads to factory reset or submit to service center 😆.

Firstly try to understand things, you cannot install anything manually. You may download the zip from anywhere anysite any app if its installing in your device via local upgrade its legit otherwise it will show error.
Oxygen updater[ Unofficial app] is a 4.5* app on playstore, it's not like it will install anything in your device bcz your phone won't allow.

Oneplus gives incremental updates slowly adding user which may take a week or more to come to you, if you can wait it's good for you.

Oxygen updater are for those who wants quick update nothing is wrong with the app. 😆

Huge companies producing browsers, microprocessors and even Play Store apps (sic!) had been pushing fixes for vulnerabilities that are found in their software and hardware, and those companies employee security specialists. So yeah, I don't believe in Oxygen Updater security. Also when I am using consumer electronics I like the ecosystem, I like when solutions are coherent, have common UI and look&feel. This is why I consider using apps like gcam and oupdater as kind of shameful to the company. I'll just wait for the update, but than you for pro tip.
