Is open beta risky? I mean what differences do I feel in terms of system stability, performance and battery life when it is compared to stable versions..?

I know that beta builds are for trying out new features earlier than stable users and report bugs if any so that they will rectify them in next beta and stable updates.....but the thing here is...the stable versions are also having some issues like many stated in this thread regarding double tap to wake issue and camera portrait issue etc....

Unfortunately, that's true. You already answered regarding betas by yourself, now it's up to you whether to flash it or not.

I think 70% of the posts in the whole forum are useless. People don't want to read or search for info. They want to complain about something and wait for someone to fix their issue.

I have been waiting eagerly for the 10.3.3 update since May 28, but still I haven't received the update on my 7t. Can someone tell me how long does it take to receive the update once it's officially released by OnePlus.

No one can fix it! You're gonna have to live without it for now, it's not that big of deal.

Yepp. Mentioned more or less on every page here. Only possible fix is for rooted devices. The rest needs to wait on Oneplus.

Hi Team, Thanks for the update. But the new feature of Lens Stain Detection is not available on my OnePlus 7's Camera's app. Neither is a new setting nor any other update.

The three different photos have been shared for your reference. The first two are from my phone's camera and the third screenshot shows the required Lens Stain Detection feature. So this feature is missing on my phone. Can anyone help me here?

There is another issue with the camera that sometimes camera is unable to fix the temperature of the image. It continuously keeps on fluctuating temperature between cool and warm. Usually the variation is about 200K.

I jz wanted to ask the beta users whether they are facing any differences regarding system stability, battery life and performance while compared to stable versions...so if they are facing system lag or any performance issues then I'll keep stable because the stable version has no issues with performance, battery and stability...if the stable and beta are same then I'll go for beta so that atleast I'll get new features earlier....

There is a bug with portrait mode. It no longer works with rear camera. When you capture is always blurs the subject and background is always clearer than the person. Highly disappointed
