I haven't really read any details on this. But at the moment 5/5t don't have support for the extra features. However there should be more updates for 5/5t and I wouldn't rule out a possible buds support unless Oneplus has stated that it will not be supported on 5/5t.

If someone has read official info on this let me know.

Hi there, what do you mean by that?

  11. Swejuggalo , via OnePlus 8 Pro Ultramarine Blue , Aug 4, 2020 :
10.0.x has been solely EU firmware ever since 10.3.x was created. 10.3.x is shared by Global/India firmware. Its not until 7t series 10.3.x is only for India and 10.0.x is for EU and Global. I've been trying to get this corrected since it adds unnecessary confusion for some time now. The info has been incorrect ever since the birth of 10.3.x I guess. And I have informed in various way both to users and staff about the mistake. Some global firmware users ends up confused and don't know what update they should really get. I guess most older users know this by now but changes are it still causes confusion for several newer users.

Here is a sample from support on homepage. US and India region. Same firmware. 7 has only 2 firmwares with India integrated into Global version via an extra India.img that is installed on Indian devices. While 7t series has 3 real regional firmwares. I can only assume that 7 and 7t series that is sometimes treated as if they both have the same regional firmwares types, but they don't.

Thanks for the heads-up. That was already corrected in the new one and should be right for the next ones to come. If you notice something wrong in this regard in future threads, please tag me.
