I have had this update for 48+ hours now and I can only say that the battery behaviour is significantly worse. with my usage, I used to get 7-7.5 hours of SOT in a single charge on OOS10.3.2 and now I don't get more than 5.5 hours at best. I thought it might take a few charge cycles to settle, so I observed it across 4 charges but the behaviour is the same. The battery performance is much worse than the last update. your mileage may vary.
I have tried clearing cache and a factory reset to no avail.

I contacted the customer care and this is what they had to say. The update for all devices would be available after a month. Due to COVID 19, they haven't been able to fix everything completely. Hope this helps for all the queries regarding the update issue. Cheers, everyone.

As with every update, the battery must be calibrated which happens after the battery reaches 100%.

I do hope he drank too much beer before replying though (or actually he meant next month, in other words in a few days) ... I assume you asked about 7 International firmware?

Both international and Indian versions. According to him, updates would be received by next month. I'm not sure. I asked him about the clock styles and revamped notification icons, he said the upper management hadn't told anything about that.

And how long did you keep it on the charger after reaching 100%?

usually, I charge overnight and then use it the whole day. but on this update, I've had to charge overnight+ in the evening on both days. so it stays at 100 overnight, but in the evening, I keep it on 100 for 5-10 minute before taking it off

They are the same (just an extra India.img internal that applies only on India devices).
So approx 2 days or more for the rest then.

Why do you have to charge it in the evening as well? How low does it get before you put it on the charger?

No specific app or system component that seems to drain extra much?
