Update is ok till now but for Battery one has to at least charge the phone for 3/4 times and then the mobile will settle.
It's then that we can see if battery is better or worse.

I can't understand people who got the update yesterday saying the battery is worse - you can't say that before you leave the phone settle.

I am on 7 hours, 15 minutes with 18 percent battery left. that is with one day on this update, before it's really settled. so for me it's pretty good. I cleared the cache, that's it.

A lot depends, of course, if yourl are on wifi most of the time (better battery life) or have a strong cell signal ( also good battery life). if you are on the cell connection most of the time and the reception isn't very good, then the battery life will suffer.

use oxygen updater. takes 15 minutes depending on your connection. it's safe. I have used it at least 20 times (including on son's and wife's OnePlus 6's.)

your can find on the web. I do it but not sure it helps.

    Power off your device.

Once shut down, press and hold Volume down and power key simultaneously until you see OnePlus and Android logo.

    Release the keys.

    Now select your preferred language.

Tap on “Wipe Data and cache”.

    Then select “Wipe cache”.

Give your consent to wipe cache by tapping on “Yes”.

    Now reboot your device.

All the cache data will be cleared now.

i know what they are for, but it wasn't there before and it's a stupid position to have those bottons that i dont even use and it's annoying ( I know for a fact that in samsung devices we can hide that back bar and icons ... but oneplus doesnt have that option )
