    so many ppl are missing the old hide notch option. New option is just a waste ..very less ppl might be using it now.

    A small suggestion to all facing battery drain, heating and slow charging issues.... I was facing the same even after cleaning cache from recovery mode....... Then I went to battery menu and I disabled Adaptive Battery and Sleep Time Optimization and re-enabled those..... After that everything is working like before..... Just see if this weird kind of step helps.... It helped me....

    He drew a reference to the feature in android 9. At least read the comment properly before you decide on being mean to someone.

    Not true.

    Before the new update you could set the key 'op_camera_notch_ingore' to the value '1' via the SetEdit app. With that you get the old hide option back but since the last update that is not possible anymore. It has nothing to do with Google. OnePlus made the decision to remove this option with no explanation. It worked before flawlessly.

    about phone[e]27a1[/e]️tap build number 5 times till it says you are now a developer [e]27a1[/e]️then under system settings[e]27a1[/e]️developer options[e]27a1[/e]️display cutout

    tinker on to your liking.

    There is no fitting setting for waterdrop notches. These options are not for hide notches. They add notches.

    In Android 9 , hide notch was like black status bar with rounded corners.. the option you mentioned doesn't have that.
