Okay, first impressions are great. I'm not sure about the redesign, but it's not that big of a deal. A few things though:

Where is reachability? This is a needed feature for the 8 pro, as it's almost impossible to use one handed.

Also, screenshots are still brokeen for me, I can't expand them linke on iPhone

Finally, would love to see the multitasking changes on OnePlus phones. Specifically the share and screen shot buttons for each app.

Other than that, thanks for the update! Loving my 8 pro so far :D

I agree with all of this, very mixed feelings... But the notification shade is supposed to be 3 in the final... Check the comments

I received open beta 1 in my OP 8 pro & installed. I also downloaded the Open Beta 1 ROM to make a clean install. Out it as usual in root directory. When I tried to local the ROM via local upgrade, it couldn't find out any zip file / ROM there.

ROM file extension is . ZIP not JAR.

Seems it's a bug. Anyone faced this issue???

    Pls reply back. Thanks

This beta is ok but I hate the fact that when you use the bedtime mode it forces you to choose between do not disturb and grey scale. You can't turn off both it's pretty annoying. And it kind of defeats the purpose of it making you choose that option when you can just disable the dnd in the drop down menu.

The frame rate sucks when you are scrolling through youtube or any app really even with motion graphics smoothing turned on. It's super hard to look at anything in apps where you have to scroll.

It's too much like a Samsung. The one plus OS is way better. Also can there please be an option for split screen? I loved it when I had the 7 pro idk why it's not on the 8 or the 8 pro. It's a very useful feature.

Came from last EEA android 10 update.
Everything is working so far: Netflix, button combos, Google Pay showing no error and PayPal seems still connected and ready, although I can check contactless payment in a few hours.
I rather don't like the more grayish kind of dark mode and the bigger notification icons/font, the 2 row quick tiles (3 are already announced).

Hey, so I'm having a problem with bubbles not showing up. I am just unable to get them to work. Any ideas?

(I've turned it on in settings, and there is just not the icon that you are supposed to click to bubble a conversation)

also screenshots need to be fixed, if you have a different default app that is not oneplus' it isn't editable

Hey, so this turns out just to be a problem with the googles messages app. If you sign up as a beta tester, it will work! :D
