    It's always recommended. I would anyway wipe everything after beta flashing.

    If you want to switch from stable to open beta, your data is safe. but if you want to switch back to stable from beta just backup before doing it.

    That's exactly what I said. It's recommended to backup your data before flashing beta and reverting back to stable as well. I

    I see your point man. And I agree that with 12gb of ram you can have some fun let everything running. The battery may or may not be a problem depending on the user case. I have the 8gb ram version and I am fine.
    But its crazy man..... We are talking about 8 and 12 GB ram phones!!!! My 2 years old laptop (1000+ value at the time of purchase) has 8gb of ram....
    And it's running fine a full blown os (Windows).
    The android has turn to monster ... A mobile os needs equal ram with a desktop os (Windows)
