thanks I don't know why my comment keeps jumbling in order when I post it. immediately when I post it, it's on the top. Later when I open it goes to the bottom.

Yes it's , you can also update via Oxygen updater provided you're already a Beta user

I could say that your comment is also stupid about monthly security updates. So how do you say Samsung, Sony and Google with its pixels that update security patches every month waste time and resources !? Obviously without updated patches the phone normally works but you cannot say that it is always updated with regards to security. If I spend a lot of money on a smartphone I want it to be constantly updated at least for the first 2 years if you allow. OP works on the patches every month but what I don't accept and that for the stable channel skips at least half of it every year. It's okay to try new features on the beta but not at the expense of security updates for those who want stable software. If u are disagree with me it's not important for me but u have to know that only OP acts in this way and if other OEM acts differently OP some question will have to be asked for the future.

Did anyone find an app like this installed in this build. I don't remember downloading or installing it.
    Anyways I uninstalled it.

The problem as I see it... Oneplus never claimed to update security monthly. They do however give info about updating bi-monthly. However they don't advertise that clearly so you know it before buying an Oneplus device.

Why all these complain when it was boldly written on oneplus's website: close beta released once weekly, open beta released twice monthly and stable release every 2 months and not all features from beta do make it to stable based on feedback and functionality.

Also Beta updates tend to come with some bugs, if you want to try new features then just roll over to beta instead of complaint about stable not receiving updates which isn't true, cos OnePlus follows their statement
