    Hey everyone,

    Here are the latest open beta builds for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.

    • System
      • Added a shortcut to switch to Dark Mode in notification bar (scroll down to enable)
      • Fixed the sharp edges of application cards in the recent apps screen
      • Fixed the screen flashing issue after locking the device
      • Updated OnePlus Brand Logo for a refreshed look
      • Updated Android Security Patch to 2020.06

    • Shelf
      • Refined the step counter's accuracy for recording the movement
    • Phone
      • The frequently dialed contacts will now be available in the dialing interface

    Please keep in mind that this is beta software. These builds are sometimes not as stable as our official OTAs generally are. By installing this update, you accept the potential risks. For those who were on previous versions for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, we appreciate your active feedback and for reaching out to us. With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas. Thank you for your patience and as always, we look forward to getting your continued feedback via the Community app.

    If you don't have the Community app installed on your device, feel free to download it HERE. You can check here for more information on the integrated Feedback tool.

    Please note:
    • If you have already flashed an Open Beta (you are currently running the latest Open Beta), you will receive this new build as an OTA.
    • If you are not running open beta software and would like to, please refer to the flashing instructions and the full ROM on the downloads page here.
    • Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will no longer receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
    • Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (full wipe of all data and cache).
    Make sure to let us know how you feel about the beta builds here in the thread too. We are watching.

    Never Settle.

    Quick Update:
    One-handed mode feature is not included in the current build. It was unintentionally mentioned in the changelog, sorry for the inconvenience. The one-handed mode feature will be added in the next build.

    We're back with some exciting news. In this OBT version, we have added a new feature: Now, the device now be connected directly to the Bluetooth hearing aid. This was specially created based on the feedback of some users. We have been studying the relevant agreements and codes before contacting the well-known hearing aid manufacturer, ReSound GN, for debugging. OnePlus is proud to be the third smartphone manufacturer that supports such a feature, after Google Pixel and Samsung.

    Come, try it out! Follow the steps below.
    1. Insert batteries into the hearing aid device, then turn on your mobile Wi-Fi to search for it;
    2. The hearing aid will be detected and appear in the available devices list with the Bluetooth icon;
    3. Click the hearing aid and choose "Yes" when the toast pops out, asking to match.
    (Note: The connection of the Bluetooth hearing aid is the same as that of earphones. However, the hearing aid will show as Bluetooth icon after connection.)

    Good update, thank you for it. A few things I'd like to suggest:

    1.) If you pull down your finger on the notification on the Lock Screen, you can view the full message, you can also see 2 buttons: mark as read and answer. But it is visible only for the time you keep your finger there, as soon as you lift your finger the notification isn't extended and you can't read the full message, neither answer for that.

    2.) The Night mode turns on every time when you unlock the phone, with some delay, doesn't matter what is your setup or preference (mine is that it is enabled from sunset to sunrise); the screen will burn out your eyes before the Night mode turns on, dims the screen and makes that yellow'ish.

    3.) The Horizon light is currently useless. It shows up only once, when you receive a notification, and not anymore. It means, if you can't see it when you just receive the message, you won't spot that you have an active notification. It should blink a few times, at least.

    4.) You receive a notification sound every time when you receive a message. Even if the phone is unlocked and is in your hand. Could you add an option to disable notifications when the phone is unlocked (so most probably you are actively using it)?

    5.) Possibility to turn off the Lock Screen's PIN's ripple/waves. It's a security breach. Every time I enter my SIM's or Lock Screen's PIN those big grey circles mark what did I just hit. Not only the guy next to me can see it on the train but about everybody.

    This change log is different from what oxygen updater shows.
    In oxygen updater app they said one hand mode is also added but did not find In settings. 1591971544918.jpg
