That youtuber is a joke. He is a jackass who guides users to turn on VPN to get a bloody beta update.

Agreed... but he is spot on in this video and it was the best I could come up with at this time. :(

That's one awesome post. How many hours food you spend in the pub for this?

The worst part of doing it in a pub... is it all seems to make sense at the time but when I come to look at it next day... I wonder what idiot had written it and have to start again.

Thanks to that video, I have gone for a more minimalist style for those who want to roll-back from Android Q. See, post #7 of that thread, ;)

Just been testing some things and I disabled usage access for Device Health Services and disabled adaptive battery on my phone and it seems to be running much smoother. Might be just placebo effect. will see what impact it has on battery life.

Maybe because you are on the stable build?
Come on man. Read the title before asking something.

Have you read the title of this Thread?

Are you on the Open Beta test firmware at this time?

Are these questions too difficult for you?

"Says a Cupcake." Was that even necessary? Yeah, I get it. You woke up this morning and discovered your first kernel or sliver of hair "down there" and now feel or felt " all growed up." Well good for you, but your comment didn't offer up anything constructive.

Hey Z1, I too am seeing a slight drop battery charge but expect there to be issues seeing as we're using Beta.

Wow, I've just been trawling through the android Q thread. It makes this thread look positively calm and trouble free!!

Think I'll give it a miss till the next update at least [e]1f602[/e]

    wow

bug fixes and a overheat popup

Hope you fan boys don't expect OnePlus to change their ways with this or the OP7

But that would actually require the cupcakes to (gasp) SEARCH and READ and UNDERSTAND for themselves.

You're putting WAAAY too much trust into their capacities (except their capacity at whining).

i am visiting the community after a long time and I have to share concerns raised by fellow members that these beta builds are not resulting in some good new features in the stable builds.... atleast since January this year.

after having used the device for almost a year, I would say OnePlus has largely delivered on the hardware front with zero lag software.... but the software updates have not been delivered as promised especially since the focus has shifted to the upcoming 7 series in last few months.
