For all the peoples having hard time with android 11 i would like to give a way to flash android 11 with almost no bugs and a good battery backup. I did this and it worked for me. Ao I'm sharing it with you guys. It may not work for u so please dont blame me for that. So, below I am mentioning some steps..
    1. Download android 10 rollback build for your device.
    2. Take a backup of your apps through oneplus backup app (though i will recommend full clean install of apps)
    3. Backup android 10 rollback build in some other place like pc or pendrive (we need it twice)
    4. Move android 10 rollback build in root of your internal storage.
    5. Now flash rollback build by going in settings->system->system update->clicking on settings icon in top right corner->local update->selecting android 10 rollback file
    6. After successful flash and setup of android 10, follow step 4 and 5 again by coping same android 10 file from pendrive or pc.
    7. Finally, after successful second time android 10 flashing update your phone through settings to android 11. (i will recommend resetting device after updating to android 11)

It worked for me. I know its a lot of work but believe me it really helps. Specially for P**G players.

I'm disgusted and horrified by the lack of software firmware updates and the delays not just on this device but on all devices. The direction this company is taking or has taken
and the fact of abandoning all of us of the first core user from day one and the original OnePlus device supporters.
You as a company should be ashamed that Samsung does a better job now in listening to their customer and pushing updates faster than you. And the fact that you only support for two major android updates when Samsung guarantees at least three major android releases and five years of security updates should worry you a lot!

L1 Security is not downgraded it's a bug that happens when you update from beta to beta or stable of android 11.
You can follow my instructions above to get smooth android 11 experience.

I understand it's a bug, but the sad part is I tried each and every solution provided by the OnePlus customer care and reported this issue in the community. But still waiting for an OTA to get this resolved. While checking community, I found there are many users impacted due to this.

Bought 7t on 29th Oct, 2019,being best in the price providing best features but now after so many updates, specially last 2 updates, it's the worst phone, so many bugs, UI change, and all were unnecessary. Not a oneplus fan anymore.

There are many users from a variety of OEMs affected by this, it appears to be something in the Android 11 code.

Yes, the problem started after the Oxygen OS 11 update. OnePlus team already acknowledged this, but no ETA yet.

What is more strange is the OnePlus , and other manufacturers, are facing widevine issues - yet the other manufacturers acknowledge and correct and notify users - whereas, OnePlus won't or haven't done so!
BTW... I'm on the last OOS10 stable and stuck at L3 said:

I'm just saying what another user over at XDA reported to my thread on the L3 issue... so again... what is the official fix to this problem... I don't yet know
