    New to the OnePlus 6T.

Last OnePlus I had was the 3.

I am now using Windows 10. How can best I sync my OnePlus 6T to my Windows 10 computer?

    Suggestions?

I have been unable to transfer files (music, photos, etc.) from my Windows 10 PC to or from my 6T. This is the only phone that I've ever had this issue with. Normally, it's a "drag and drop" from an Android device to/from the PC. VERY frustrating!

    Syncios for PC.

Unlock Developer Options on phone by clicking a few times the Build Number under About Me tag. Then configure USB for media transfer method under Developer Options that are located in somewhere in system settings.

It should pop up automatically when you plug in to the computer. If it doesn't you can enable it manually from the developer options in settings.

When I plug into my PC, it shows the phone and "internal storage". However when I open internal storage it appears empty and will not allow me to create a folder or copy a file to it. The USB Preference is "File Transfer" There is no MTP mode.

Nope I don't imagine there would be. Look for something along the lines of default usb configuration.

That sounds as though it would be a driver issue of some sort then

Under USB Configuration - the options are: File Transfer, USB Tethering, MIDI, PTP and no data transfer. When I go to PTP, I am able to see DCIM and Pictures folders and can open individual images in them.

just pull down the notification shade and you'll see various options to connect usb...no need of developer settings....just select file transfer...I believe by default it is set to "charging only"

I have a one plus 7 pro. I can transfer via usb a large amount of pictures from my Win 10 Version 1809 PC to the oneplus 7 pro, but if I try to transfer other big files(like pdf, word, excel) with subfolders the data transfer stops after about 30 seconds and only a fraction of the copied files was transferred. I activet filetransfer and usb debugging.
