Android 11 and scoped storage makes some stuff restricted. This app has not been updated for some time. Maybe something else can show it more clearly. Will see if some other up can show more.

I cannot get my storage to clear. I have deleted every file, every photo and all unnecessary apps and it has not made a difference. I have only had this phone for a few months and this is becoming very frustrating. What can I do to fix it?

Hey!! I MIGHT have a solution! If you have a lot of video and photo files you deleted, go to "gallery" > "collections" > scroll to the bottom and hit "recently deleted" and then click the little broom in the top right corner! I went from 214gb used to 42.39 gb used. I hope this is what you needed. I figured that out after deleting EVERYTHING OFF my phone. When really it's just the trash folder for all of our photos and videos that is in a very inconvenient spot.

You can see inside the System files as long as you have rooted your device and are using a root file browser. But if you do not have a rooted device, then a root file browser will be unable to see them system files.

On my OnePlus Nord as I remember when it was on OxygenOs 10, it occupied 25 GB of system storage and when I updated to OxygenOs 11, it rose to 26 GB and then it got dynamic like someday it would show 26 GB and the other day 27 GB and this goes on.......

Same problem, I have made 4 factory resets + had a remote session with the OP support team. They flashed my phone, but after a few days the system storage starts again to increase. Now I should collect logs for the technical team, but Im not aware how this will help .. I'm very sad that many faces this issue, normal phone usage is not possible, if you have to reset your phone each week
