OxygenOS System takes up 36 GB

I've been running low on storage on my rooted OnePlus 6. I don't know when this started to happen, but I noticed System takes up 36 GB out of my 64 GB total storage.

I assume this is because of the A/B partitions, but how do I reduce the size as I don't think this is normal?

Hi. I noticed that someone had a similar issue. See thread below:

    https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...33gb-of-system-storage-on-one-plus-8.1339220/

    I hope this helps.

Ps. You can go to Settings - Storage - Free up space to free up space. You can also clear your applications cache (go to Settings - click Storage - Select on App - Delete cache). And if you have a lot of photos you can back them up to Google photos and delete them from your phone. Then delete the deleted photos from the recycle bin.
