Me too. This is my first OnePlus phone and will be my last.. Every time I try to send a Pic after taking one it crashes and I get the warning message on screen.. Add this to the massive issues around pathetic WIFI connectivity, (which is a well known problem,) where it constantly drops out or wont connect even though I've got 2 Ubiquity wireless access points over my smallish 3 bedroom house and the pathetic panorama camera mode I'm absolutely regretting spending $1800 aussie dollars on this junk.. And OnePlus don't seem to give a shit about customer service as they don't seem to acknowledge there's issues let alone make an attempt to resolve / fix them..

Any news here? This happens multiple times ebery day now with my phone. If this ain't fixed soon, a new phone will enter into my life and it's brand won't be OnePlus.

Same issue, nothing helps. (Regular onePlus 8)
Runs like a cheap 100$ phone after this update. My old huawei lite phone was running way more stable.

Same here, I bought my phone in september. Now i am thinking about changing to iphone, because I feel like I am wasting my money by buying android phones that are crashing out of the box.

Got my phone brand new 2 days ago. This phone keeps on crashing with minor apps like facebook messenger. It also crashes upon accessing camera application via lock screen. Oneplus team should do something about this

Same issue for the 8 pro. Even writing this message was a challenge with the freezes. My first OnePlus, what a joke !

this is not the Oneplus we know.. Oneplus devices was always the best performing phones, no iphone can matched with speed with Oneplus. But today, after Oneplus One, 3t and 7 pro , mine 8 pro is first poorly optimalized phone from Oneplus i know. Its too much for them, updating 7, 7 pro, 7t, 7t pro, 8, 8 pro, 8t, nord, nord n100 and preparing for already maded 9 series.. its just too much. They have to decrease the number of devices they are making. Not 4 phones every year, forget the T series and make only Pro and non pro version of device.
