System UI not responding via OnePlus 8T

The system UI crashes on the OnePlus 8T
I bought this phone a few days ago and I've replaced this phone from the store twice and I'm still facing the same problem. 'system UI not responding' , 'oneplus launcher not responding' , 'app not responding' are the messages that appear on the screen while it freezes and blacks out and reboots
Is there any permanent solution to this?
Is this a software issue or a hardware issue?
Will OnePlus fix this issue in the next update?

It's not a problem with the hardware of the phone, it's software related.

If the software updates are not compatible with Google apps this happens. The software updates changes can be from either OnePlus updates or other app updates that aren't compatible with either the phone UI or Google's UI.

They just need to be better at coding and do more user testing before releasing.

    This is a software issue.

I got my 8T in January and got these messages a few times a week. But as the upgrades came through they went away. Which software version are you on at present?

I don't have them any more. Monitor your phone, if they don't go away after a few updates, then report here.

I actually got it replaced twice, second time was also a hardware issue.
Now that ive got the replacement I haven't updated it and the latest software it shows is of September and security patch is also of September
Idk if I should wait for the next stable update to come or should I update it now as I've a 3gb update available on the phone

Oh.....you are not having much fun with your phone. It's July now, so you should have quite a few updates coming through. Let me check my version.
I have the June update on my phone.

Ohh yes the first one that o bought I updated that and it started causing problems. The service center downgraded the software and it still caused me problems so this time I didn't update it
Hopefully they'll release a stable update soon for my device

I'm not buying that this is a software issue. If it was this would be all over the forums. I have a TMobile 8T, I've converted to global, EU, and used the Tmobile roms and it occurs on all of them. Literally hours after setting the phone up. I'm just using standard apps like twitter and whatsapp, not rooting. I just factory reset my phone yesterday and it's happened 6 times already. It's really weird that the phone will not hard reboot no matter how long you hold the power button. It hangs for about 4 minutes doing nothing except the system ui, whatever app you happened to be in not responding, then oneplus launcher not responding. I'm selling it on Ebay and going back to my pixel 4a 5G.

Shame because I love the feel and especially the screen of the phone. I don't trust custom roms as far as I can throw them to see if they work any better.

I haven't updated the phone and I'm still waiting for the software update to fix this.
Till now it laga a little bit but the hanging problem has not occurred but I feel like when I update it the problem will occur again
They should've discontinued this model if it was a big problem, feels like wasted my money on this

What should I do then? Not update the phone until they bring out a stable software update?

By the end of this year they'll be merging into Oppo so I am not expecting them to get these things right anytime soon

September, I got the replacement with that security patch and I haven't updated it.
Though some of the mentioned problems were still there but very rarely that occurred

I've not had any problem for months, and I find it quite stable. But I have very few apps installed. You could try upgrading, not saying it will fix the issue, but worth a try.

    Good luck

By the way right now, you are in the user forum. Only users like yourself here

If the upgrades don't fix the problem, then use the feedback link I gave you a few days ago and log it as a bug. The oneplus bughunters may be able to help further.

For me the system ui not responding error was because i had the 3rd party app youtube vanced installed on my phone. Deleting it solved the problem. Just use normal youtube premium.

Using 3rd party apps like youtube vanced causes this system ui not responding error. Uninstalling it completely solved the problem for me. Better off using youtube premium fwiw. There is nothing related to problems with phone updates. The 3rd party app is the problem here. If you dont have any 3rd party apps and still are receiving the wrror message, then im not sure
