Hi... can you share the Local Dimming settings? It obviously looks weird that the dimming is uneven.

Have you guys logged in with the Oneplus Account? if not do that try again.
If it doesn't work even after that,
Go to Settings< Apps< See All Apps< Eros Now< Clear Data.
    Login again with Oneplus credentials.
Let me know if it works.

    Hi Venky,

Local dimming was set to high when these pics were taken. Even when i boot up backlight is firing at uneven places and spreading accross the screen when Google or oneplus logo comes up.

ok... can you check once by keeping Local Dimming to off... That way the software issues can be isolated.

That's strange... Ok Try uninstall Update option in the App Settings.... If even that doesn't help, Reset should do the trick... but I would suggest to wait if you can till the next update as many a times the update resolved such errors.

Even with local dimming off its the same issue. Should i wait for next update or get in touch with Amazon to arrange a technician visit.

Light bleeding is generally a known issue for the regular LED panels but in this case it's prominent towards the left top corner... It's not the same with other units but yes varies with unit to unit. I would suggest to do a reset if it's ok for you and if it still exists then you can think of contacting the CS for technician.
But do note that the uneven patches is a normal thing for this panel with Local Dimming Off.

i did reset now and it's still the same. I will wait for next update as multiple users have similar issue and i think it can be fixed via updates as this was not there when i bought the tv.

Thread cannot be found! I understand that this is the first new product launch for the developers but this was quite unexpected from Oneplus! I'm sure you guys are working hard for the update but these things should have been resolved before launching the product!

Could not be found :-o Ok you can check the Q&A post, it's the 3rd one.

And yes, I agree with your point. Most of the issues could have been sorted before the launch itself.
