System Update for OnePlus TV Y Series[OTA3]

    First of all, learn how to talk to someone who is trying to be helpful. And secondly try to be more clear when you want to ask something. No where in your post here, you mentioned that you did not get any update. "Give up updating my TV" sounds like someone waiting for new update. I understand your frustration but this is a user forum and we are fellow users trying to be of help, so understand and respect that.

    As suggested, checked with my pendrive and that too not getting detected. Hence decided to reset the TV, lengthy process and need to setup everything again, that's the only option left now for me. And that resolved my issue :), now able to see & use the hard disk contents.

    Doing this, also resolved the pending 'Check Screen time and Data statistics' issue. Now able to check details via Connect app in mobile.

    But resetting TV is not the feasible option, everytime we can't do this for resolving issues. Please consider these cases as feedback and pass on to product team to find ways for resolving such issues.

    Sure, I always try to help others for known issues.

    But suggesting TV reset would be little awkward o_O, offcourse that's the final way.

    Yea.. I have experienced that issue too. Install AirScreen App and open it on the TV and now Connect to AS Server instead of the TV in the list of devices from phone and the lag reduces by a lot. Let me know if that works for you.

    I did TV reset on April 14th, then force closing issue was resolved. Now 'Data Statistics' is working properly, historical data is visible. But the issue is with 'Screen time', only 1 day usage is visible.

    Seems this is a bug, how to report it?

    Not sure if this an update or faulty hardware, from yesterday my Wlan is acting weird.. Its automatically switching on and off continuously... Reset the tv couple of times and when i checked the MaC address it's invalid 02.00.00.00

    Just now checked the OnePlus tv u series feature. It detects OnePlus buds like OnePlus mobile devices..
    If it's possible please add it on the next update. Because OnePlus buds z won't connect automatically after restarting the tv or turning it on after sometime. I have to unpair it and then re-pair the buds z in order to use it.
    Also OnePlus buds z support Dolby Atmos with OnePlus 7+ devices right? So that'd be great OnePlus tv also able to do that..
    I have two bluetooth headphones in my home. So, it'd be nice to connect two bluetooth headphones at the same time just incase I have a guest at home, so we could enjoy movies with headphones.

    Guys received an OTA alert of an New Software Update for Oneplus Y Series 43inch TV.

    Any1 has any idea or information about this update..?

    There is no detailed information about this update.

    Nor can find ang post on possible new update features and announcements.

    Received new update on my OnePlus 43Y1 TV yesterday, have updated it. There aren't any major bugs or changes, everything working fine.

    The existing data-saver app playstore update issue seems to be addressed or has to wait until app's next update to check whether resolved or not.

    Also I can see OnePlus Connect's new update has Kids mode & File transfer features.
    @Venky61 @Sophie Z. Can we expect these features along with Data saver in Yseries TVs? Please bring them for us too.
