    The1Lion , May 6, 2015 :
T-Mobile has started a program dubbed "Never Settle" to try and win over Verizon customers.

CNET had an article on it

"Never Settle" is a common phrase to use in marketing

Yes, Verizon has been using it in their commercials.

They'll give you a free phone. Not an OPO but sell the phone they give you and buy the OPO.

Between 1+, T-Mo and Verizon? Since it's also your motto I'll just be on your side :p

It'll be great for folks who live in a major metro area (80% of America). Won't work as well for those living in rural areas.

Service in LA for TMo is great. 5 of us for $120 a month. Works great and saves us a good chunk of change.

As much as I love tmo... no one can deny the fact that Verizon is the best (in terms of network power).

I work in telecom doing cell tower repair (in the office lol), and that's all we here. Verizon has superior antenna's, tma's, they have disel engines to power the site when the power goes out. They got the good stuff strapped on those poles!

I didn't get too much into the details since I'm already using T-Mobile but sounds like you get to basically try it out for two weeks and decide. You can just return the T-Mobile phone(s) if it doesn't work out and I believe there was some mention about paying for you to reactivate your Verizon service. If you decide to stay with T-Mobile you keep their phones but trade in your Verizon phones. T-Mo pays up to $650 still owed on your Verizon phone (perhaps ETF's as well?)

I guess basically no cost to the consumer but perhaps some hassle if you try it and decide to go back to Verizon - not sure a cancel and "re-activate" will be a smooth transaction...

I don't think T-Mo is using as their motto, just dubbed the program "Never Settle" because Verizon was using "Never Settle" and they are trying to win over some Verizon customers.

When I got this phone I switched from Sprint to T-Mo... at first T-Mo was amazing... not it's meh... During business hours my LTE is at or below dial up speeds... yes.. Dial up. In the middle of the night it's like it was in the beginning.. speeds at 30 mbps or higher... I'm looking into AT&T now... I will most likely switch.. because now it feels like I've settled.

That's basically what Verizon has been implying in their marketing campaign and T-mobile is throwing it right back. But whatever I'm enjoying my fully unlimited data plan and burning through 40GB of data a month with T-mobile. ;)
