Does anyone know if the unlocked OP 7 Pro will have RCS support on T-mobile in the United States?

Youll probably have to get the modem from the T-Mobile version and flash it to a rooted 7 Pro. I believe that's how it worked for the unlocked 6T

T-Mobile uses the universal profile for RCS, so long as the phone can get the android update that brings the feature to the OS(which the 7 has), the RCS will work on t-mos network

Where could I learn how to do this? I really want RCS on my unlocked OP 7 Pro, but from what I understand, non-tmobile branded devices won't get it from a T-Mobile update.

You can learn about rooting and everything best over at XDA Developers. As for the modem extraction, that's a hefty bit of work, but you can bet someone over there will be doing it soon (if they haven't already)

I have an unlocked OP 7 pro and when I go into the RCS settings on Google messenger nit says that this phone doesn't support it.

only the 7 pro from T-Mobile supports it, since the firmware from T-Mobile turns it on. T-Mobile has only enabled it for certain phones, and not universally yet. the global version isn't supported yet
